Dear Friends of Wylie,

I am very proud of what we have been able to accomplish, as a city, over the past three years. And while I realize those accomplishments are important, there is so much more I want us to accomplish in the next three years. With your support and with your vote, I will be able to continue to serve our city to promote and deliver on the following projects:

Completion of all bond projects on time and on budget (Library, Recreation Center, City Hall, Fire Station 3, Founders Park, FM1378, E. Brown, W. Brown & Stone Rd./Old FM544)
Attract additional retail/commercial for the FM544 & Hwy 78 Corridors (Target is great but what else?)
National Fire Accreditation/Retain ISO 1 Rating (ISO is coming up again)
Continue to lower our annual crime statistics
Improve relationships with Wylie between County/State/Federal Officials.  Wylie is the 8th fastest growing city in the United State.  We should be seeking help from all 3 of these levels
Improve communication between our citizens and our city officials and staff
Make meetings easier for citizens to attend and participate
Bridge Old Wylie with New Wylie. We are all Wylie citizens. It does not matter if you have been here 3 months or 30 years, we all are citizens of Wylie, Texas!

I am excited about our future and in taking on these challenges. I want to keep moving Wylie forward.

I believe my goals and my votes on city council has been influential in creating a better Wylie that did not exist prior to my being elected to the council. My insight was a big part of defining and approving the Comprehensive Plan to allow for housing that meets a higher standard; re-evaluating the bond budget so we can ensure projects are completed to meet our wants and needs while dealing with higher costs for supplies; and supporting public safety to have the information and technology needed to keep our community safe.

I feel very humbled and fortunate to have been able to serve you over the past three years and I want to continue serving you and I have always strived to be the voice for the people of Wylie. I want to continue being your voice, because, after all, it's the people that make the difference.
